  • David, a former chef with a deep passion for quality ingredients, is the expert behind all the vibrant, organic produce we grow. But he doesn’t stop at imply being organic - he feeds the soil with specific nutrients and minerals for each crop and regularly tests both soil and water to ensure optimal growing conditions.

David has been growing certified organic produce since 1995 and is certified by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF). We use non-GMO, untreated seeds and adhere to USDA organic standards. Our USDA Harmonized GAP Plus+ (HGAP+) certification futher reflects our commitment to food safety, covering every step from planting to packing.

In addition to our produce, we also offer certified organic nest-run eggs, from our pasture-raised flock and their friends - complete with roosters and retired hens who enjoy a peaceful, pampered life on the farm.

You may also meet a small collection of other farm animals here, many of whom are rescues, all of whom receive dedicated care to their needs.

In a nutshell, we’re proudly certified organic, growing the freshest, best-tasting produce and eggs around - with a deep respect for the land, our animals and the food we share.

  • We take care of them just the same as if they were productive. Read more here

  • Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We use organic farming methods that avoid harmful pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, and we nourish our soil with compost and local animal manure—including from our own farm animals. Crop rotation is also key in keeping the soil healthy and productive. These practices ensure our farm thrives today and remains viable for future generations.

We also focus on reducing food waste by aligning production with local demand and donating surplus produce whenever possible.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we’re proud to introduce our new Bio-Able packaging, an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic. To learn more about how this packaging helps reduce waste, click here.

Sustainability isn’t just about protecting the environment; it’s about fostering a community that values healthy, fresh food and responsible farming practices.

  • We talk about this a lot! While we've occasionally offered this type of experience and regularly host farm tours, we know there's still a lot to be done in this area. That being said, we’re excited to share that we’re working on creating an education center! It's a non-profit initiative focused on promoting the future of farming in Arizona. We’ll have more details to share as we move forward—stay tuned!

For the best opportunity to catch any upcoming events, please make sure to follow us on social media!

  • To be totally transparent, we’ve generally shied away from having volunteers on the farm due to our strong commitment to food safety and our organic certifications. However, we’re starting to think about involving volunteers or interns as we take on some exciting upcoming projects. The best way to stay updated on these opportunities is through our social media channels—so be sure to follow us on Instagram and/or Facebook!

In the meantime, if you're looking to support our farm and its future, subscribing to a Farm Box is one of the most impactful ways to do so. Your subscription directly helps us sustain our farm, care for our animals, and continue growing high-quality, local produce. It’s a big part of what keeps us going and growing!

As for “getting involved,” it can mean a lot of things, from enjoying a Farm Box to joining us at the market or even just keeping up with our journey online. We’re always grateful for the support from folks who want to be a part of our community—whether that’s through purchases, sharing our story, or other ways!

  • Between our chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, horses, and donkeys, we make sure very little goes to waste. Our animals help us minimize food waste, and we also use much of it for our own compost, enriching the soil for future crops. Additionally, we’re committed to giving back by regularly donating surplus produce to local food banks. It’s just one of the many ways we aim to care for our community, inside and outside the farm!
