What’s happening at the farm?
Slow Food Phoenix and Blue Sky Organic Farms are teaming up for a 5-course dinner featuring their Blue Sky’s organic chickens, vegetables, and dairy products.
Plow, Plate, Purpose… A Veritable Feast!
When: Sunday April 27th 2014, 4:30 pm
The Kitchen at the Farm
4762 N 189th Avenue, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340
The best access is off of Perryville. From Indian School turn North on Perryville. You will see a large sign on your left about 1/2 mi up the road. Turn on to the gravel road there and follow it down until it ends in an open gate- you’ve reached the farm!
What Gives this Event Purpose?
Well, beyond supporting your local organic farm by dining on their incredible products, a portion of your ticket is tax deductible and goes to raise money for one of our Regional Slow Food Terra Madre Representatives to attend the Slow Food International Congress at Terra Madre in Turin this October. The representatives are volunteers, who advocate tirelessly as educators and producers in the local food communities they serve, and will further serve our food community by bringing back new knowledge, tools, and ideas for slow food advocacy from Terra Madre this fall. $10 of your ticket is a tax deductible donation for the standard ticket, and $15 of the chef’s table ticket is a donation. Donations will be used to defray travel expenses abroad for a selected regional representative.
How to Buy Tickets:
