A Farm Box is a box filled with local (100% Phoenix Grown), organic, produce that was harvested the day before you receive it, not weeks beforehand.
Why should I sign up for a Blue Sky Farm Box?
A Farm Box subscription provides you with locally grown, freshly harvested, organic produce that is better for you, your family, and the community. It saves you time at the grocery store, and keeps your fridge stocked with fresh veggies so you can keep your health on track.
How does the Farm Box subscription work?
After signing-up, you receive a box of fresh veggies every week for four (4) consecutive weeks. If you sign up for automatic renewal, you will receive a box every week until the end of the season.
How much does the subscription cost?
The Farm Box is a monthly subscription which costs $89/month.
How do I receive my box?
We have pick up locations throughout The Valley, including at our Farm Store and at the local Farmers Markets we attend. When you sign up for a subscription you will select the location that you wish to pick up your box. Click here to see our current pick up locations. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for picking up your Farm Box or for making alternative arrangements to have your Farm Box picked up.
What if I want more produce than I have in my Farm Box?
All Farm Box members receive 10% Off all purchases in our Farm Store and at our Farmers Markets. This way, members who eat a lot of veggies can still get a deal on the extra items they may need.
Can I place my Farm Box on hold?
We currently do not offer a “hold” option for Farm Boxes. Some of our pick up locations are third party businesses that are kind enough to let us use their space for pick up purposes. Most of these businesses do not have the capacity to store your Farm Box over-night, therefore, if you do not pick up your box by the end of the pick up window, they are not responsible for storing it or for anything else that happens to it after that point. If you are unable to pick up your Farm Box one week, you are responsible for making alternative arrangements such as having a friend or family member pick it up for you.
What happens if I do not pick up my Farm Box on time?
That depends. If your pick up location is the Farm Store, all unclaimed boxes will be donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank, or any other food bank, church, or charitable organization we are working with at that time. If your pick up location is a third party business, please understand that they are not responsible for storing your Farm Box. Most third party locations will toss unclaimed Farm Boxes. Some may hold onto your Farm Box, but please note that we are not responsible for their storage conditions and your produce may not be stored properly, resulting in less-than-stellar veggies. There are no refunds, credits, or exchanges for unclaimed Farm Boxes.
What if I want to cancel my subscription?
There is no long-term commitment beyond the 4 weeks you sign up for. If you do not wish to continue with your farm Box subscription after 4 weeks, you are free to go. If you signed up for auto-renewal and you want to cancel, you may do so at any time, and the cancellation will apply to any subscriptions after the 4 week cycle you are in.
